3. Does it support syncing with Apple Health, Google Fit, or other health platforms?

Yes. The Rophie App currently supports Apple Health and Google Fit data synchronization.

Rophie App

1. What features does the Rophie App include?

The Rophie App includes a wide range of health-related features, including emotion detection, health index analysis, sleep monitoring, vitality status checks, emotional management, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, monitoring for more than 40 sports modes, an AI health coach, AI health reports, family member health monitoring, and women’s health management.

2. What metrics does the Rophie App monitor?

The app monitors your health through data such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep stages and overview, exercise, calories, HRV, and body temperature changes.

3. How should I interpret these data?

The app provides clear reference ranges and trend charts for each health indicator. Data within the normal range generally means your body condition is stable. If there are abnormalities or major fluctuations, the system will provide corresponding alerts. You can also use the AI health report within the app to better understand the meaning of each metric and receive professional analysis and improvement suggestions.

4. What is the value of these data?

Health data such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, exercise, HRV, and body temperature can help you better understand your physical condition, stress level, sleep quality, and exercise effectiveness in real time. By tracking data trends over time, you may identify unusual changes early and adjust your lifestyle and exercise plan for more scientific and targeted personal health management.

5. How are these data collected? How often are they collected? Is it real-time or scheduled collection?

The Rophie App collects health data through the Rophie Ring using scheduled collection. You can freely adjust the collection intervals for different types of data within the app according to your needs.

6. Does it support period tracking / women’s health features?

Yes. We not only support period tracking, but also provide pregnancy tracking and monitoring features to help protect the health of both you and your baby.

7. How long is historical data stored?

After your health data is synced to the Rophie App, it will be stored permanently unless you actively delete the data or cancel your account. Please note that final data deletion is completed only after you uninstall the app.

8. Does it support offline use?

Yes. The Rophie Ring supports local data storage and can save approximately 14 days of offline data, which will sync automatically once reconnected to the app.

Purchase Information

1. What can this ring do?

It can be used for daily health management, helping track data such as sleep, heart rate, activity, and recovery. It is more suitable for observing long-term trends rather than one-time spot measurements.

2. Is it a medical device?

No. Products like this are typically intended for health management and trend reference only, and are not used for diagnosing, treating, or preventing diseases.

3. What is the difference between it and a smartwatch?

A ring focuses more on being lightweight, comfortable, unobtrusive, and suitable for sleep and all-day wear. A smartwatch is stronger in terms of display, interaction, and sports-related scenarios.

4. What colors and sizes are available?

Currently, the IR008 is available only in black. The IR009 comes in black, silver, and rose gold. Both models are available in sizes 8 to 13.

5. What accessories are included with the Rophie Ring?

Each Rophie Ring set includes one Rophie Ring and a charging kit. The charging kit includes either a charging case or charging dock, along with a USB charging cable. To charge the ring, the USB cable must be connected to an external power source, such as a power adapter. Please note that the power adapter and sizing kit are not included in the package.

Sizing and Wearing

1. Is the ring size the same as a regular ring?

Not exactly. The inner structure of a smart ring differs from that of a regular decorative ring. It is recommended to visit an offline experience store and use a professional sizing kit to confirm your size first.

2. Which finger is best for wearing the ring?

The index finger is recommended first, followed by the middle finger or ring finger. The key is to ensure a stable, comfortable fit without looseness.

3. What should I do if I am between two sizes?

It is generally recommended to choose the larger size, as long as it still fits securely.

4. How do I know if the fit is correct?

A proper fit means the ring does not move around easily, the sensors stay in contact with your skin, and it feels comfortable without being too tight, both during the day and at night.

5. Can I wear multiple rings at the same time?

No. Each Rophie App account supports only one smart ring. If you own multiple smart rings, please make sure only your main ring remains connected.

6. How should I properly wear the Rophie Ring?

We recommend wearing the ring on the index finger of your non-dominant hand, although the middle finger and ring finger are also suitable. When wearing it, the sensor should be positioned on the palm side, and the ring should fit snugly yet comfortably at the base of your finger.

Connection and Setup

1. How do I get started after receiving the ring?

First, charge and activate the ring, then download the Rophie App. Open the app homepage and tap the “+” icon in the upper-right corner to scan and connect the device.

2. What should I do if pairing fails?

Please make sure the ring has been charged and activated, Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, app permissions are granted, and the ring is close to your phone. If necessary, close the app or restart your phone and try again.

3. Why are Bluetooth and system permissions required?

The ring requires the app for connection, synchronization, data display, and certain feature functions. However, even if Bluetooth is turned off or the phone is in airplane mode, the ring will still collect data. Your data will sync to the app the next time the ring reconnects.

Charging and Daily Use

1. How long does the battery last?

The IR008 and IR009 can last up to 7 days on a full charge.

2. How long does it take to charge?

The IR008 and IR009 take approximately 20 to 90 minutes to fully charge, depending on the current battery level.

3. Can I wear it at night?

Yes. However, if you only wear the ring at night, you may miss important activity data, which can affect your overall scores. For the most accurate insights and personalized experience, we recommend wearing the Rophie Ring all day and night.

4. What material is the ring made of?

The Rophie Ring is made from aerospace-grade nano zirconia ceramic, processed through more than 30 precision techniques and high-temperature treatment to ensure excellent durability, smoothness, and a premium finish. To minimize scratches, we recommend wearing it on your non-dominant hand, avoiding wearing other rings next to it, and removing it during activities that cause excessive friction, such as weightlifting.

5. Can I wear the ring while washing my hands, showering, or swimming?

The Rophie Ring is water-resistant up to 100 meters (approximately 330 feet), making it suitable for daily handwashing, showering, swimming, and recreational water activities such as snorkeling. It is not recommended for scuba diving, and it should not be submerged in water continuously for more than 12 hours.

6. Can children use the Rophie Ring?

The Rophie Ring is not recommended for users under the age of 18.

7. Is it comfortable to wear all day? Will it affect my daily life?

The Rophie Ring is ergonomically designed, lightweight, and skin-friendly, offering a barely-there wearing experience that will not interfere with your daily activities.

8. What is the operating temperature range?

The operating temperature range of the Rophie Ring is -10°C to 52°C / 50°F to 125°F. However, prolonged exposure to temperatures below -20°C / 4°F or above 55°C / 131°F may damage the ring.

9. How should I care for my ring?

To clean the Rophie Ring, rinse it with a small amount of mild water and dish soap. Be sure to dry both your hands and the ring thoroughly before putting it back on.

10. What should I do if the ring gets stuck on my finger?

Immediately wet your finger with cold water and mild soap, then slowly twist the ring off. If it becomes an emergency, you feel unwell, or you cannot remove it yourself, seek medical attention immediately.

Troubleshooting

1. Why does my phone volume change when I use the touch photography feature on the IR008?

The IR008 touch photography feature works by simulating your phone’s volume button to trigger the camera shutter. Sometimes, this may briefly change the phone’s volume. This is normal and does not affect device performance.

2. Why can’t I connect a new ring on my iPhone after pairing multiple devices?

If your iPhone has previously connected to multiple ring devices, you may need to remove unused devices before adding a new one. Go to your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, select the device you no longer use, tap “Forget This Device,” and then pair the new ring again.

3. Why does the IR008 touch function stop working when the battery is low?

When the IR008 battery is low, the touch function may automatically turn off to save power and protect the battery. Simply charge the device, and once the battery level recovers, re-enable the touch function.

4. What should I do if I can’t connect after switching to a new device?

Please first confirm that the ring has been unbound from the old device, log in to the same account on the new device, enable Bluetooth, and complete the pairing process again.

5. Will my data be lost if the ring disconnects suddenly?

No worries. Your data will be saved automatically and synced once the connection is restored.

6. Why is last night’s sleep data missing?

If your Rophie Ring ran out of battery during sleep and powered off automatically, the entire night’s sleep data will be lost. Please ensure the ring has more than 30% battery and is worn on your finger before going to sleep.

7. What should I do if the ring is not charging?

Please first check whether the charger, cable, and power source are working properly. Then make sure the ring sensor is aligned with the sensor on the dock or charging case. A flashing green light indicates normal charging.

8. The ring hasn’t been used for a long time and seems unresponsive. How do I restore it?

If the ring has not been used for a long time, the battery may enter low-power protection or sleep mode, making it appear unresponsive. Recharge it to reactivate it. After charging for about one minute, open the app and try reconnecting.

Tip: If the ring is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to recharge it regularly, about once every 2 months, to avoid low-power protection or sleep mode.

9. Why is some data missing?

If you notice missing data, certain factors may have interfered with monitoring. Please check the following:

  • The ring may be too loose. Make sure the LED sensor is positioned underneath the finger and the ring fits snugly and comfortably.
  • The LED sensor may be dirty. Clean the sensor and ring with soap and water. After cleaning, dry the ring thoroughly with a soft cloth before wearing it again.
  • Not all app permissions may be enabled. Please check that all app permissions are turned on.

10. Why were the data and insights unstable during the first few days?

The device usually needs time to establish your personal baseline, so it is normal for insights to fluctuate more during the first few days.
